Bankruptcy Associate- Delaware Office:


Seeking an associate with 1-5 years of experience to join our Wilmington, Delaware office and be part of a team working on matters in Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Texas and Florida. We seek a motivated individual devoted to meeting the highest standards of excellence and serving clients, and who wants to be part of an established and dynamic office and firm Litigation experience is a plus; interest in litigation is required. Delaware bar is required, additional Bar(s) New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas, District of Columbia and/or Virginia a plus. Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Construction Attorney- New Jersey and/or New York Offices:

Seeking an attorney with 5+ years experience in all aspects of construction law particularly drafting of construction management contracts, general contractor agreements, design build contracts, architect and engineer agreements, and trade contracts/subcontracts. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business and succession planning, finance, and transactional practice. Environmental Attorney – New Jersey and/or New York Offices:


Seeking an environmental attorney with 2-5 years of experience practicing environmental law or strong relevant work experience. NJ or NY bar admission required.

Seeking an attorney with 5 plus years general commercial real estate experience with an emphasis in retail leasing to join our Firm in any one of our office locations. Candidate must be admitted to practice law in the state where their resident office will be located. Strong academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills required.

STAFF POSITIONS


Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegal- Delaware Office:

Seeking a bankruptcy/litigation paralegal for our Delaware Office. Responsibility for matters in Bankruptcy and Litigation to include document retrieval, organization and review, deposition digesting, monitoring of document production and trial preparation assistance, document drafting, and case management. Experience with chapter 11 matters strongly preferred. Ability to file pleadings electronically in Delaware federal and state courts required. Experience with electronic discovery is a plus. Overtime required.

Candidates must be highly organized and possess the ability to prioritize, be a team player, and have excellent written and verbal skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe plus. College degree and/or paralegal certificate and 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.

Collection/Cash Receipts Coordinator- New Jersey Office:
Regional law firm with multiple office locations seeks a Collection/Cash Receipts Coordinator for our New Jersey Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact clients to resolve delinquency issues
  • Regularly meet and communicate with attorneys regarding collection efforts and status of past due accounts
  • Distribute statements to delinquent accounts
  • Prepare reports for AR/Billing Committee meetings
  • Enter daily cash receipts
  • Support other Accounting Team functions as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of collection experience in a professional setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Law firm experience preferred
  • Experience with Thomson 3E and Microsoft office applications a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure

BS in accounting preferred but not required

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal billing and client relations along with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stress and while communicating with clients.

Senior Accountant- New Jersey Office:
Regional law firm with multiple office locations seeks a Senior Accountant for our New Jersey Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow the firm’s established accounting processes
  • Support cash receipts activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of entry and reporting
  • Prepare and record entries to the general ledger
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support collection activities and monitor client accounts receivable balances
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations and schedules of all balance sheet accounts
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
  • Provide monthly budget reports and analysis of transactions impacting budgets
  • Respond to inquiries and ad-hoc analysis
  • Manage accounting department in absence of Chief Accounting Officer

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, policies and practices
  • Understanding of income statements, balance sheets, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Experience with 3E accounting and billing system
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor while engaged in stressful situations
