Panel Discussion Questions:
-When you look at the Key Performance Indicators for NJ, does the sharp downturn in demand surprise you, especially in comparison to other groups in the region?

-What would you identify as a few possible causes for the demand decline?

-Would you say that downturn is something your firm has been feeling, or has been felt by other with whom you’ve spoken?

-It appears that, in an effort to find balance, NJ firms have scaled back significantly on hiring. Do you think this is a trend that will continue, or do you see room for improvement and a ramp up in hiring?

-Recognizing that we showed a fairly limited selection of practice areas, do you think there are practices that are showing stronger performance in NJ that we didn’t mention?

-Does it surprise you at all that NJ is bucking the national trend by showing growth in litigation?
