Description: The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 (better known as the WARN Act) implemented protections for employees, their families, and communities by requiring most employers to provide advance notification of closings and mass layoffs to their employees. This webinar will examine the Federal WARN Act as well as several State versions of the law, and provide employers with an overview of their rights and responsibilities under the legislation. This webinar will also provide an overview of recent developments in the case law.
